- The Democratic Federalism system applied in Rojava has brought dramatic positive change for everyone in the area, which is amazing especially as they are in the middle of a war zone. This system may be appropriate for other areas.
- Kurds need to be treated with respect and involved in discussions about the future for Syria.
- They need supplies to help support the many many internally displaced people who have sought protection in the Rojava area.
- International Governments need to recognise the manipulation applied by Turkey in the area, in supporting ISIS, and attempting to create internal conflict between Kurds in the different regions in an attempt to weaken and control the Kurds.
